Yoga is an invaluable practice for healthy young bodies and minds. It can provide children with the gift of an unwavering belief in themselves, and build a strong physical, mental and emotional foundation which lasts a lifetime.
The primary issues facing young people today include:

- Stress, Anxiety and Depression
- ADHD
- Obesity
- Body image distortion
- Diabetes
Yarra Ranges Yoga offers a program at the beginning of each year for children starting their first year of school, and in 2020 will offer a session for older kids also heading back to school.
By allowing them to identify their personal strengths, to participate in a healthy and non-competitive activity, and to connect with something much bigger than themselves, yoga can give children the great gifts of self-love, self-acceptance, confidence, and good health.
Yoga for children is fun and inclusive. It can be practiced in a yoga studio, school classroom, and at home.
Yarra Ranges Yoga offers a program at the beginning of each year for children starting their first year of school, and in 2020 will offer a session for older kids also heading back to school.
We are also able to offer individual sessions for children who could benefit from a specialised program for their needs.
