Marcella, Ireland

I lived in the locality for three years. When I moved there I was looking to take up yoga or something similar. I started a few classes to get a feel for them, and as soon as I stepped in to Clare’s studio, i knew it was for me. I had tried starting yoga before, but for some reason I had never stuck with it or gone beyond a few classes. However, with Clare’s classes, I felt so ‘ at home’! I ended up going twice a week and to any Saturday classes i could. Although i went regularly, I never once felt like her classes were predictable or similar. Every class i attended, felt completely ‘new’ and I never once felt like i was slipping in to something ‘ formulaic’.

She also has the gift of presenting classes that cater for all needs and all levels of ‘connection’ with yoga.

Clare is such a kind, open, welcoming, considerate person. Her studio a beautiful, clear, warm, welcoming space. She seems to strike the perfect balance of welcoming warmth and professional distance with her students. It is clear that yoga is her lifelong passion. She hasn't just jumped on any recent yoga-fads, but has had a lifelong journey with this practice. You can tell that she practices what she preaches and has a true and honest connection with and belief in yoga. She is a gifted teacher and kind facilitator. She also has the gift of presenting classes that cater for all needs and all levels of ‘connection’ with yoga.

The one extremely special thing about Clare’s space, is that there is no ego present. She doesn’t have a yoga image that she is trying to sell you. She is just doing what she loves, in an honest, authentic way and she wants to share the joy of this practice with as many people as she can.

I have recommended her to as many people as i can. I can not recommend Clare highly enough. She is a very, very special person and teacher. Now that I no longer life in the locality, I miss her classes terribly.
